This Brisbane Bayside Ward of the Brisbane City Council includes the suburbs of Lota, Lytton, Manly, Manly West, Wynnum and Wynnum West, along with the Port of Brisbane and the localities of Lindum, Mud Island, St Helena Island and Green Island.
I’m Alex Givney, your local Councillor for the Wynnum Manly Ward, elected in March 2024 as part of Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner’s team.
The Bayside has been home for many years, and it’s where my husband Ben and I are raising our two children, Charlie and Maggie, along with our dog Tillie. Like many local families, we’re invested in making sure this community continues to thrive, not just now, but for the next generation.
