For me, this really is one of the best places in Brisbane to live. From the bay views and open spaces to the people and community spirit, it’s easy to see why so many families, including mine, are proud to call the Bayside home.

My team and I are proud to deliver and support a wide range of community events and activities across the Wynnum Manly Ward. We’d love for you to join us at one of them.

We also work closely with the Bayside Spring Festival Committee to deliver one of our community’s biggest and most loved events each year.

Some of the events and activities we host include:

Films on the Field with Bayside United Football Club, held in August each year
Films on the Field with Wynnum Vikings AFL Club, held in May each year
Wynnum Manly Volunteers Expo, held in March each year
Floating Movie in the Wading Pool, held in November each year
Free Seniors Movie Screenings at Bayside Cinemas during Seniors Week in October
Coffee with a Cop, held several times a year in central locations
Eggs for Others Easter collection, supporting those in need and local essential services
Easter Bayside Bunny Bonanza, a community bunny hunt across the ward
World Teachers’ Day surprises for our local teachers
Christmas pudding deliveries to Meals on Wheels and local retirement homes
Park openings when new playgrounds are completed
Mobile offices held at various locations across the ward throughout the year
The Aussie Day Brekkie on Australia Day each year
